Green laser for difficult materials
The FOBA V.0102-gn is a green laser marking system that uses a wavelength of 532 nm for applications where materials do not respond effectively to other laser technologies. The system is frequently used when achieving sufficient marking contrast or ensuring adequate energy absorption in the material poses a challenge.
Clear markings on plastic and reflective metal
The green laser offers better absorption on materials such as white or transparent plastics, special polyamides, PMMA, or highly reflective metals. This allows for high-contrast markings even on surfaces where other wavelengths may produce limited results.
Low-heat marking process
Thanks to the material’s high absorption efficiency, the energy required for marking can be reduced, which limits surface heating. In many applications, this allows for marking without the use of laser additives in the material and reduces the risk of component deformation or damage.
Flexible integration into industrial processes
The compact laser head can be integrated into both FOBA marking stations and directly into existing production lines. The flexible configuration of the head orientation and connections allows the system to be adapted to various installation requirements and industrial applications.
Who is it suitable for?
- manufacturers that produce white, transparent, or specialty plastics
- applications involving reflective metals where contrast is difficult to achieve
- processes in which the goal is to reduce heat input into the material
- factories that require clear markings on challenging technical materials
