Free-fall detection for bulk products
In processes where the product flows through pipes by gravity, metal contamination must be detected quickly and removed without disrupting the flow. Here, the detector must not only identify the contaminant but also automatically separate it in real time.
The CASSEL Metal Shark GF is designed for such applications. It is installed on pipes carrying free-flowing products and is suitable for sugar, flour, grains, pellets, powders, and other bulk materials. The system detects ferrous, non-ferrous, and stainless steel metals, and the rejection flaps immediately remove the contaminated product.
Automatic separation without interrupting the flow
A key advantage of this model is its ability to automatically reject products during production. Depending on the product type, various rejection options are available, including for powders, grains, abrasive products, or applications where product integrity must be maintained.
High performance and product customization
TeachAssistant, with storage capacity for up to 250 products and presets for different product types, simplifies setup. The system is suitable for both quality control and the protection of equipment such as mills or extruders.
Suitable for demanding environments
Options are available for extended temperature ranges, ATEX applications, and special hygiene requirements. Parts in contact with the product can be manufactured in versions suitable for sensitive applications, and documentation can be expanded using SHARKNET.
What applications is it suitable for?
- powders, granules, and free-flowing bulk products
- sugar, flour, grains, spices, or plastic pellets
